What You Recieve
Approximately 50–60 stones per m²
Approximate weight: 49–55kg per m²
Coverage is calculated by arranging the stones loosely across a 1m² area. We then include an additional 5% material to ensure sufficient coverage during installation.
This gives flexibility in the finished appearance, whether you prefer tighter joints with minimal gaps or a more natural look with wider shadow lines.
The image below shows how 1m² of stone coverage is calculated. We then include an additional 5% of material.

The image below shows how approximately 1m² looks once installed on a wall.

Key Features
• 100% natural white limestone – unsealed, unglazed (Subtle colour variation and occasional fossils are part of the natural beauty of the stone)
• Hand-shaped, hand-chipped finish for a luxurious organic aesthetic
• Crafted by skilled artisans in Bali, Indonesia
• The stones have a flat back for easy installation with tile adhesive or mortar

• Stone Size Approx: 100–150mm diameter, 30–40mm thick
• Suitable for interior & exterior use. Can be sealed with Lithofin Stain Stop MN for an invisible stain and algae resistant finish.
⸻
Installation
Despite the stones' natural shape and appearance, installation is straightforward. Most stones can be laid without cutting, while the remaining pieces can be adjusted easily using an angle grinder and diamond blade if required (see below video).
Tiles can be installed using standard mortar onto brick/block walls (provided the surface is reasonably flat).
For a more refined finish, white S1 tile adhesive can be used on tile backer board or cement board.
Small gaps are inevitable and form part of the intended aesthetic, with shadow lines enhancing the depth and raw character of the wall.
Gaps can be:
• Left visible (recommended for the most natural look)
• Lightly reshaped with an angle grinder and diamond blade
• Filled using smaller tile pieces or chippings

Recommended Finish
For the most natural, high-end result (see below image):

• Leave joints ungrouted to allow shadowing between stones
• Apply a thin skim of white tile adhesive to the substrate first
→ This creates a clean, light background that enhances the final appearance
⸻
Corners
Corners can be formed using an alternating overlap pattern (see below image):

• Row 1: front-facing tile overlaps side tile
• Row 2: side tile overlaps front tile...and so on...
This can also be applied in a more randomised pattern for a natural finish.
⸻
Maintenance
For exterior use in the UK, sealing limestone with a breathable impregnating sealer such as Lithofin Stain-Stop MN is recommended due to its naturally porous structure. This helps protect against moisture, staining, and weathering while maintaining the stone’s natural appearance.

Sealing is optional and comes down to personal preference. If left unsealed, the stone will weather more naturally and can be cleaned with a pressure washer every 6–12 months.
For interior use, sealing is only recommended in high-traffic areas or where the stone may be exposed to moisture or grease (e.g. kitchens and bathrooms).
